TILZ Topdressing Mulch

Our Mulch is very popular because of its dark sought after color. It is cooked between 130 and 160 degrees to kill the weed seeds and offers these benefits:

Excellent all natural weed suppressant.
Keeps roots warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Retains moisture.
Adds richness to your soil as it breaks down.
Encourages beneficial microorganisms to make themselves at home.

MEDIUM MULCH

This product goes through the same process as our TILZ Topdressing Mulch above, but is slightly coarser and "woodier".

Approved under Washington State Department of Organic Food Program

MULCH OVERS

This also goes through the same process as our Topdressing Mulch, but is more like a wood chip without the greenery, and is a dark espresso color.

The wood pieces are about 3-4" in length.

TILZ NORTHWEST LAWN MIX

A 70/30 mix of compost and sand, ideal for lawns in Kitsap County.

ORGANIC COMPOST

This is a popular compost for topdressing garden beds or amending existing soil. The ingredients include yard waste, food waste and grass composted together.

OLY MOUNTAIN FISH COMPOST

Oly Certified Organic Fish compost is a very popular and excellent way to add richness and nitrogen to your soil. Veggie gardens love it! It's made with native hardwoods, fish, yard waste and food waste. Made in Belfair, Washington where it cooks up to 180 degrees for two years.

Great all-purpose planting soil.

FILL DIRT

Our fill dirt is an economical way to fill in low spots, behind retaining walls and more! Not pretty, but it works. Fill dirt will vary from shown.

SHREDDED WOOD

The Shredded Wood is a pure and larger version of the Wood Chips, made right here on Bainbridge. This material is excellent for pathways, livestock lots and other large areas.

WOOD CHIPS

Our wood chips are a mix of different hard and soft woods and are great for pathways and other areas where you want to suppress weeds.

MEDIUM BARK

Our Medium Bark is made of Fir and Hemlock. The red color is completely natural, and the bark works great as a top dressing and weed suppressant.
