TILZ began in 2015 as a team endeavor between father and son. Aaron was passionate about starting a small business and Tom was seeking a project for his retirement. In the years since, TILZ has grown from a small start up to a thriving Bainbridge Island business.

Meet the Owners

Tom and Pam Crane moved to Bainbridge over 25 years ago to raise their family. Tom spent his post college years in various enterprise sales and sales management roles, including working for Xerox, MCI Communications and most recently Lexis Nexis. While Tom traveled for work, Pam raised their children. She also spent 13 years as a paraeducator in the special needs preschool on Bainbridge. Both Tom and Pam are active in the day-to-day operations of TILZ.

Aaron and Stacia Crane met at Washington State University and both earned a degree in Landscape Architecture. They share a passion for plants and landscape design. In addition to running TILZ, Aaron stays busy with his excavation and drainage company. Stacia played an integral role in getting TILZ up and running during the early years. She currently spends her time raising her and Aaron’s two children and operating a cut flower business called Cora’s Cut Flowers, based in Poulsbo, WA.
